Lahore: The newly appointed Austrian Ambassador to Pakistan, Wolfgang Oliver Kutschera, called on Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan in Lahore on Saturday. During their meeting, they discussed diplomatic and trade relations between the two countries.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Austrian Ambassador informed that Austrian companies are installing hydroelectric projects on the Chenab and Jhelum rivers. These projects aim to provide free electricity to nearby communities, indicating a strengthening of trade ties and cooperation in energy development between Pakistan and Austria.
