Lahore: Renowned journalist Salman Ghani has said that the 23rd March is a historic and turning point in history that laid the foundation for the Pakistan’s creation seven years later, in 1947.
According to Radio Pakistan, in an interview with correspondent Zunera Khalid, Salman Ghani said the Lahore Resolution was evidence of the vision of Allama Iqbal and the outstanding leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He added that their leadership and foresight played a crucial role in bringing Pakistan into existence.
He stressed that education is essential for Pakistan’s development. He said that countries investing in their youth’s education have achieved unprecedented success.
He emphasized that Pakistan has great potential for progress, as 60 percent of its population consists of young people.
He underlined the importance of unity among the people, political parties and leadership, emphasizing that it is essential for the country’s progress.
