SAPM and Dutch Ambassador Explore Digital Media Collaboration

Islamabad: Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Pakistan, Robert-Jan Siegert, met with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media, Fahd Haroon, to discuss potential cooperation in the media sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on collaboration in media, particularly digital media, and the evolving trends within global media landscapes. Both parties shared insights on modern communication challenges and emphasized the increasing significance of digital platforms for public engagement.

During the discussions, Fahd Haroon provided the ambassador with an overview of Pakistan’s efforts to modernize its media and information systems, aligning them with international standards. In response, Ambassador Siegert commended Pakistan’s initiatives and showed keen interest in potential cooperation and knowledge-sharing opportunities in the digital media domain.
