Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Meets Pakistani Prime Minister to Discuss Strengthening Ties

Islamabad: In a significant diplomatic engagement, Dr. Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al Dawood, the Deputy Interior Minister of Saudi Arabia, met with the Prime Minister of Pakistan during his official visit. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations, with both leaders expressing a commitment to deepening economic and security cooperation.

According to Press Information Department, the Prime Minister extended a warm welcome to Dr. Al Dawood and conveyed greetings to Saudi leadership, highlighting the historic relationship between the two nations. He expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s support to Pakistan and noted the ongoing efforts to strengthen ties, particularly through Saudi investment initiatives amounting to $2.8 billion.

The leaders also addressed the situation in Gaza and the Middle East, with the Prime Minister lauding Saudi Arabia’s role in the Arab-Islamic Summit and the efforts of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in advocating for peace. Additionally, the visit was seen as an opportunity to enhance defense and security cooperation between the two countries. The Prime Minister reiterated his invitation for the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan, emphasizing the anticipation of a warm reception by the Pakistani people.
