Saudia Group Tops Global Rankings for On-Time Performance in June 2025

Jeddah: Saudia Group has been recognized for achieving the highest global rankings in on-time performance for June 2025, particularly excelling on routes serving Pakistan. This distinction, reported by Cirium, a global aviation analytics firm, highlights the airline’s commitment to operational efficiency during peak travel seasons, including Hajj, summer, and Eid Al-Adha.

The airline achieved a 91.33% on-time arrival rate and a 90.69% on-time departure rate in June, operating over 16,700 flights. This marks the second time in 2025 that Saudia has led the global rankings in on-time performance, with a similar achievement in March.

Pakistani travelers, including Hajj pilgrims and those visiting for business or family reasons, benefit significantly from Saudia’s reliability, which helps minimize delays during the busiest travel periods.

H.E. Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, emphasized the importance of operational excellence and its role in enhancing the overall travel experience. He noted that this achievement reflects the seamless coordination across all sectors and subsidiaries of the Group.

Saudia’s success sets a benchmark for the aviation industry in Pakistan, offering opportunities for bilateral cooperation in areas such as training, operational standards, and digital aviation technologies. The airline’s expansion plans, which include adding 188 new aircraft to its fleet, are expected to increase capacity for Pakistani passengers.

The airline’s Integrated Operations Control Center at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah plays a crucial role in managing growth and ensuring efficient flight operations. As Saudi Arabia continues to develop its aviation infrastructure, Pakistani travelers and airlines are poised to benefit from improved connectivity and seamless travel experiences.
