LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has emphasized that science and technology serve as crucial elements for development and form the foundation of a peaceful and prosperous society. In her message marking the commencement of the International Week of Science and Peace, she highlighted the importance of scientific progress and technological advancement as essential drivers of development.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif reiterated that the secret to achieving development is deeply rooted in science and technology. She further stated that modern IT training programs are currently being implemented to empower young individuals with the skills necessary for self-employment.
