Islamabad: A delegation from the Pakistan Overseas Chinese Association and the China-Pakistan Youth Exchange Group met with Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, Parliamentary Secretary on Information and Broadcasting, to discuss the anticipated impact of the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit on business relations between China and Pakistan.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting focused on the opportunities the SCO summit could present for strengthening business connections and fostering economic prosperity in the region. Both parties expressed optimism about the potential for the summit to open new avenues for collaboration, particularly in enhancing the business sector’s stability and growth.

Chaudhry highlighted the strong ties between China and Pakistan as a foundational element for these new opportunities, emphasizing the summit’s role in promoting not only economic but also public welfare initiatives. The Chinese delegation also stressed the importance of the summit in bolstering people-to-people relations, reinforcing the commitment to mutual benefits and public welfare activities in Pakistan.
