Search and Rescue Efforts Continue for Missing Climbers After Broad Peak Avalanche

Islamabad: A search and rescue operation is continuing to locate members of an international mountaineering team who went missing after an avalanche struck Broad Peak in Pakistan’s Karakoram mountain range.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the search and rescue mission, the bodies of four of the ten missing mountaineers have been recovered. The missing team includes climbers from the United States, Nepal, and Oman as well as Pakistani mountaineer Sohail Sakhi.
