Islamabad, December 26, 2012 (PPI-OT): Muhammad Iqbal Tabish, Secretary General, SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry was conferred upon MS (M. Phil) degree in Economics with distinction of Gold Medal. He was honoured during the 6th Convocation of the Institution of Business and Technology (BIT) held on December 24, 2012 in Karachi, which was inaugurated by Justice Agha Rafiq Ahmed Khan, Chief Justice Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan.
Held in a local hotel at Karachi, the Convocation was graced with the presence of Senator Haseeb Ahmed Khan, British Deputy High Commissioner Francis Campbell, Noman Abid Lakhani, TI, Chairman Board of Governors, Dr. Mansoor-uz-Zafar Dawood, Rector BIT who distributed degrees and medals amongst successful graduate and post- graduate students. The Convocation was attended by a larger gathering comprising leading academicians, business persons, students and their relatives.
