Security Forces Conduct Operation in Zhob District, Clash with Khwarij

Zhob: Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Sambaza area of Zhob District during the night of October 29 and 30, 2024, targeting members of Khwarij. The operation resulted in a fierce exchange of gunfire between the troops and Khwarij.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, one member of Khwarij was killed, and another was apprehended while injured. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the individuals involved. A subsequent sanitization operation is underway to ensure the area is cleared of any remaining members.

The security forces of Pakistan, in collaboration with the nation, remain committed to countering any efforts aimed at disrupting the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan.
