Bajaur: Security forces conducted successful operations against Khawarij in Bajaur.
According to Radio Pakistan, security forces completely eliminated hideouts and tunnels of Khawarij in the Shahi Tangi forest. Based on intelligence reports, the forces carried out a strategic operation at a cave in the forested region.
During this operation, an intense exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the death of one Khawarij member. Other members were injured and managed to escape the area. The security forces successfully cleared the tunnels and surrounding areas.
In addition to neutralizing the threat, the forces recovered weapons, explosive materials, and communication equipment used by Khawarij during their operations.
