Security Forces Eliminate Eight Militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: In a series of operations conducted on January 12 and 13, 2025, security forces in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province neutralized eight militants in two separate engagements, according to official reports.

According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations, the first operation was an intelligence-based effort in the Tank District, targeting the reported presence of militants. During this operation, security forces effectively engaged the militants, resulting in the elimination of six individuals.

In a separate encounter in the Tirah Valley area of Khyber District, security forces neutralized two additional militants.

The operations are part of ongoing efforts to conduct sanitization operations in the region, reflecting Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
