Security Forces Intensify Operations Against Militants in Khyber District

Khyber District: In response to a surge in terrorist incidents in the Tirah area of Khyber District, Pakistani security forces have intensified their operations against militant groups, resulting in significant casualties among the militants.

According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations, security forces have been conducting extensive Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) in the region since December 14, 2024. These operations have successfully neutralized 22 members of the Khwarij group, while 18 others have been injured.

The campaign is part of a broader effort to restore peace in the area and eliminate militant threats. Officials have reiterated their commitment to eradicating terrorism from the region. The operations will continue until the security forces achieve their objectives, ensuring the safety of both security personnel and civilians alike.
