Security Forces Neutralize Four Khwarij in Bagh Operation: ISPR

Islamabad: Security forces have killed four Khwarij, during an intelligence-based operation in the general area Bagh in Khyber District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, resultantly killing four Khwarij including Kharji ring leaders Aziz ur Rehman alias Qari Ismail and Mukhlis, while two Khawarij got injured.

According to Radio Pakistan, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against the security forces, as well as the killing of innocent civilians.

A sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji present in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country. Meanwhile, the Counter-Terrorism Department has arrested ten terrorists during operations conducted in various cities of Punjab. According to a CTD spokesperson, one hundred and sixty-three intelligence-based operations were carried out across the province in response to terrorism threats. The operations took place in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sheikhupura, Mianwali, Sargodha, and Faisalabad.
