Security Forces Target Terrorist Hideouts in North Waziristan

Islamabad: Security forces have been carrying out effective intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the past two months under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision. According to Radio Pakistan, multiple hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists were destroyed during intelligence-based operations in North Waziristan.

Several Khawarij terrorists were killed during an operation in the Khatti Kili area of North Waziristan. A large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and other equipment was recovered from the killed terrorists.

The sources further said that reports also indicate that several terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij were injured during the operation.

They said every effort is being made during the operations to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the local population and to avoid any harm to civilians.

Security sources reaffirmed that the security forces will continue operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa until lasting peace is established and terrorism is eliminated.
