Mohmand district: In the early hours of 6 September 2024, security forces successfully foiled a suicide attack by four terrorists on a Frontier Corps Headquarters in Mohmand District. The attackers, identified as members of the Khwarij group, were neutralized before they could inflict any damage on the facility.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the security personnel on duty at the camp were quick to respond to the attempted breach, effectively stopping the terrorists in their tracks. This prompt action ensured there were no casualties among the security forces or damage to the headquarters.
