Senate Sub-Committee Recommends Returning Residence to Widow After Review of Alleged Illegal Occupation

Islamabad: The Senate Sub-Committee on Housing and Works convened at Parliament House to address the issue of an alleged illegal occupation of an official residence by a widow. Presided over by Senator Raja Nasir Abbas, the committee recommended that the Ministry of Housing hand over the residence to the widow following a comprehensive review of the case.

According to Senate of Pakistan, the meeting examined a petition filed by the widow, who claimed her official residence had been wrongfully transferred to another citizen. The sub-committee meticulously evaluated the circumstances and heard the ministry’s perspective on the matter. Senator Aslam Abro and the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Works were also in attendance.
