Islamabad: A delegation of TikTok, led by its Director of Public Policy Emir Gelen, called on Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja in Islamabad today. The delegation briefed the Minister of State for IT on TikTok’s initiatives in Pakistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, Shaza Fatima Khawaja emphasized the importance of quality content on social media platforms, given the large number of TikTok users in Pakistan. She urged TikTok to utilize the platform for educational purposes, assuring that the Ministry of IT would fully support such initiatives.
The delegation assured the Minister that they would prioritize meaningful and quality content on the platform. They also expressed their willingness to work closely with the Ministry of IT and Telecom in Pakistan.
