Shehbaz, Hamza Acquitted from Ramzan Sugar Mill Case

Lahore: An Anti-Corruption Court in Lahore has acquitted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and former Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case. The decision was delivered by Judge Sardar Iqbal Dogar, marking a significant development in the case.

According to Radio Pakistan, the court had reserved its judgment earlier this month on the 3rd. The case had been closely watched, given the political significance of the individuals involved.

In response, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed her gratitude regarding the acquittal. She congratulated both Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz, describing the verdict as a moment of relief and justice. Maryam Nawaz also extended her best wishes to the leaders following the court’s decision.
