Shehbaz Sharif Directs Transparency in Jinnah Medical Complex Construction

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to ensure complete transparency at every stage of the construction of Jinnah Medical Complex. Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, he instructed that consultants and contractors for design, supervision, and construction be hired through international tendering.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister emphasized his commitment to personally overseeing all stages of the construction. The Jinnah Medical Complex aims to be a state-of-the-art hospital providing cutting-edge medical facilities and advanced research tools.

The meeting was informed that the Project Concept-1 (PC-I) for the complex is nearing finalization in consultation with all involved stakeholders. An initial capital of 3.5 billion rupees has already been transferred to the trust fund set up for the construction of the complex.

The Jinnah Medical Complex will be a significant infrastructure project, featuring over one thousand beds and nine Centers of Excellence, each dedicated to specialized fields of medical research and treatment.
