Shehbaz Sharif Lauds US President’s Efforts for Peace

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated US President Donald Trump on his efforts to pursue peace and for holding a telephone call with leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkiye, Egypt, the UAE, Jordan, and Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation in a post on X, noting that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir represented Pakistan in the call. He commended Munir’s efforts throughout the process.

The discussions provided an opportunity to exchange views on the current regional situation and strategies to advance ongoing peace efforts. Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to peace efforts and expressed hope to host the next round of talks soon.
