Sheikh Humayun Sayeed appointed Chairman Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry’s body on Fairs and Exhibitions and Trade Delegations

Karachi, March 06, 2014 (PPI-OT): President FPCCI Mr. Zakaria Usman has appointed Sheikh Humayun Sayeed as Chairman of FPCCI Standing Committee on Fairs, Exhibitions and Trade Delegations for the year 2014. His nomination is reflective of the confidence reposed in him by the President FPCCI and the Private Sector of Pakistan.

Sheikh Humayun Sayeed is Chief Executive of SMH International – Events Management and Chairman of Hallmark Insurance Co. Limited, Karachi. In 1993, he was awarded a gold medal in recognition of his services to the business community of Pakistan as Vice President in FPCCI. His company M/s SMH International – Events Management is also the holder of first FPCCI Achievement Award 2012 for the development of International Trade.

He has also served as Chairman FPCCI Standing Committees on Diplomatic Affairs, Foreign Investment, Banking Credit and Finance and Insurance and as Chairman of several Business Councils of FPCCI such as Pak – UK, Pak – Italy, Pak – France, Pak – Germany, Pak – UAE and Pak – Saudi Arabia etc. etc. He has also contributed substantially in the enhancement of Pakistan’s bilateral trade with these countries.

Sheikh Humayun Sayeed is the Honorary Life Member of Islamic CCI, former Director of NBP and Founder Member and former Director of Bank of AJK. Sheikh Humayun Sayeed is actively involved in various trade, industry and services activities.
