Siemens (Pakistan) Engineering Reports Loss of Share Certificates

Karachi: Siemens (Pakistan) Engineering Company Limited has reported the loss of several share certificates, a significant notification made to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on October 14, 2024. The certificates, lost by shareholder Maria Noman, represent a combined total of 30 shares across different series.

The lost certificates, under folio number 3921 and held at an address in Block-H-12, Mehmoodabad, Karachi, include certificate numbers 27492 and 282032. These span distinctive numbers from 7766581 to 7766590 and from 7762341 to 7762360, respectively.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has initiated a 07-day objection period. During this time, members of the exchange are advised not to engage in transactions involving these shares to prevent any unauthorized dealings and to secure the shareholder’s interests.

If no objections are presented within this period, duplicate certificates will be issued to the shareholder to mitigate the loss and ensure the integrity of the shareholder’s records. This procedure underscores the importance of safeguarding share certificates and the systems in place to address such losses promptly and efficiently.
