Islamabad: Special Investment Facilitation Council is prioritizing the development of energy sector.
According to Radio Pakistan, with the support of SIFC, the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced the successful restoration of production from a well discovered in Sindh. This well is currently producing 115 barrels of oil per day, 7 million standard cubic feet of gas, and 21 metric tons of LPG.
Additionally, Mari Energies has made a new hydrocarbon discovery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, marking the company’s third consecutive success. In the Waziristan block of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, production has commenced with 23.85 million standard cubic feet of gas and 122 barrels of condensate gas per day.
