SIFC’s Support Spurs Growth in Digital Sector and Technology

Islamabad: The support extended by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has resulted in the considerable promotion of the digital sector, technology, and an increase in investment in the country. This was stated by Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja while addressing the 27th National Security Workshop.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shaza Fatima Khawaja highlighted that Pakistan’s digital ecosystem includes forty-three software tech parks, more than four hundred tech companies, and eighty-five incubators. She noted that these facilities are paving the way for a more robust technological infrastructure in the nation.

Shaza Fatima Khawaja further stated that the number of new companies and start-ups in Pakistan has exceeded four thousand. These startups and tech companies are extending their services internationally, reaching markets in the United States, Canada, the UK, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries. This expansion is a testament to the growing global footprint of Pakistan’s digital sector.
