Sindh, ADB Agree on KCR Revival & Electric Bus Expansion

Karachi: A meeting between Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and a delegation of Asian Development Bank led by country director Emm fan was held in Karachi today. The meeting agreed on the revival of Karachi Circular Railway and running electric bus service in all divisions of the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Sindh Chief Minister termed Karachi Circular Railway indispensable to resolve transport problems of the city and sought technical and financial support from Asian Development Bank for transformation of mass-transit system in the city. Country Director Asian Development Bank agreed in principle to provide financial support to Karachi Circular Railway Project.
