Sindh Approves Rs14.9bn Additional Subsidy for Wheat Growers

Islamabad: The Sindh cabinet has approved an additional 14.9 billion rupees subsidy package for wheat growers, under which farmers holding up to 25 acres of land will be eligible for the subsidy. The decision was taken at the Sindh cabinet meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the additional subsidy for farmers supplying wheat has also been raised from one thousand rupees to two thousand rupees per 40 kilograms.
