Sindh Chief Secretary presides Bus Rapid Transit System project meeting

Karachi, July 28, 2015 (PPI-OT): Sindh Chief Secretary Sindh Muhammad Siddique Memon has asked the Secretary Transport to arrange the meetings with the authorities of SSGC, K-Electric, NTC, KMC and KW and SB, for relocation of their installations, resisting the rout of BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) Project i.e., Green Line, Yellow Line and Orange Line. He issued these instructions, while presiding over a meeting in his office to review the coordinated efforts linked to BRTS.

Chief Secretary asked the stake holders to prepare the reasonable plan with affordable estimates for relocation of the respective installations and point out the time period for initiating and completing the relocation work. The BRTS project would facilitate the Karachiites in travelling locally, which is expected for inauguration by the Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, next month.
