Sindh CM Announces Special Remission of 120 Days for Prisoners

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has announced a special remission of 120 days for prisoners on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha. This announcement is seen as a gesture aimed at providing relief to inmates during the festive period.

According to Radio Pakistan, the special remission will be applicable to all convicted prisoners except those convicted of serious offenses. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to offer some leniency to inmates who have committed less severe crimes.
