Sindh CM Directs to Control Prices of Daily Use Items During Ramadan

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has directed to control prices of daily use items during the holy month of Ramadan to provide relief to the people. Chairing a meeting of the provincial cabinet in Karachi today, he emphasized the importance of regulating market prices to ensure affordability for residents during this significant period.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister expressed concerns over artificial inflation and profiteering. He announced that strict action would be taken against those involved in creating artificial price hikes and hoarding essential goods. This directive aims to maintain price stability and prevent any undue financial burden on consumers.

In addition to discussing price controls, the Chief Minister also highlighted the need to accelerate ongoing development projects across the province. This focus on development schemes underscores the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and public services, alongside ensuring economic stability during Ramadan.
