Sindh Government Introduces 500 Electric Buses in Karachi and Hyderabad

Karachi: Sindh government has introduced five hundred electric buses in Karachi and Hyderabad under the Peoples Green Transport Project.

According to Radio Pakistan, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that this initiative will serve as a flagship project aimed at providing a comfortable and affordable traveling facility to the people. The introduction of electric buses is expected to enhance the public transportation system in these cities, contributing to improved urban mobility.

The project aligns with the government’s efforts to promote sustainable transportation solutions and reduce the carbon footprint in the region. With the launch of these electric buses, the government aims to offer an efficient and eco-friendly alternative to traditional public transport options.
