Sindh Government to Distribute 10,000 Free Electric Bikes to Women Workers

Karachi: The Sindh government has launched a significant initiative to distribute 10,000 electric bikes free of cost exclusively among women workers across the province. In a statement issued in Karachi on Monday, Spokesperson for the provincial government, Sukhdev Hemnani, stated that the objective of the project is to enhance women’s mobility, independence, and economic empowerment.

According to Radio Pakistan, the distribution of electric bikes will be conducted through a fully digital and transparent balloting and registration system to ensure transparency and accessibility. Hemnani emphasized that the provincial government has expanded its scope to provide women-centric transport services in the province.
