Sindh Governor Commemorates 76th Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam at Shrine with Solemn Tributes

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori marked the 76th death anniversary of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, with a solemn visit to his shrine. Accompanied by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other provincial assembly members, Governor Tesori laid a wreath, recited Fatiha, and penned his reflections in the guest book, commemorating the monumental legacy of the leader.

According to Sindh Governor House, the ceremony was not just a tribute but also a reaffirmation of the values Jinnah espoused. In his interaction with the media, Governor Tesori highlighted Jinnah’s attributes of courage, determination, and adherence to democratic principles, emphasizing the importance of unity, conviction, and discipline. He remarked on the pivotal moment Pakistan currently faces, underscoring the rejection of extremism in line with Jinnah’s vision. The Governor stressed the government’s commitment to realizing the Pakistan envisaged by its founder.

During the media briefing, Governor Tesori responded to questions about the country’s economic situation and the spread of a narrative of hatred. He criticized elements spreading divisiveness and affirmed a message of national unity against external threats. Furthermore, in his guest book entry, he expressed remorse over events that contradicted the ideals of Pakistan’s founding father.

Governor Tesori also addressed the influence of external narratives on Pakistan’s affairs, advocating for unity and perseverance to navigate the internal challenges faced by the nation. He called for adherence to Quaid-e-Azam’s principles to guide the country through its current trials.
