Karachi: Sitara Peroxide Limited has announced the postponement of its previously scheduled Board of Directors meeting. Originally set for September 2024, the meeting is now rescheduled to September 24, 2024, due to the unexpected absence of audit committee members.
The notice dated September 13, 2024, outlined that the prerequisite meeting of the audit committee could not occur, necessitating the deferral. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), such procedural delays are taken seriously to ensure compliance and governance standards are maintained.
The company has confirmed that the “Closed Period” initially declared will extend until the new meeting date of September 24, 2024. This period restricts all directors, executives, and insiders from trading shares of the company, supporting transparent and fair corporate practices.
Stakeholders, including TRE Certificate Holders, have been advised of the change to ensure all parties are informed and can adjust their schedules and expectations accordingly.
