Six KP Police Officers Arrested in Islamabad for Attacks on Law Enforcement

Six serving personnel of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police, disguised in civilian clothing, were arrested at D-Chowk in Islamabad for their alleged involvement in attacks against law enforcement agencies. The officers were found armed with tear gas, slingshots, and stones during the assault. According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, five additional KP Police officers, including two from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and three from the regular police force, were also apprehended while attempting to flee in police vehicles near Attock. These officers, also dressed in civilian attire, were found with a large quantity of tear gas shells, batons, and stones during their arrest.
