SMEDA to Be Restructured for Business Promotion: Haroon

Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan announced that the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) will be made more effective to promote small businesses and boost industrial development.

According to Radio Pakistan, Haroon Akhtar Khan chaired a meeting of the Authority in Islamabad, where he emphasized the necessity of restructuring SMEDA. This effort aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision to enhance youth employment and drive economic development. During the meeting, the Special Assistant received a briefing on SMEDA’s performance.
