Speaker of National Assembly Condemns Attack on Kashmir Assembly Convoy

Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has strongly condemned a recent firing incident targeting the convoy of Chaudhry Latif Akbar, Speaker of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. Several individuals sustained injuries in the attack.

According to a statement by National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sadiq expressed deep sorrow over the incident and extended condolences to the victims and their families. He called for a swift investigation to ensure accountability for the act.

Speaker Sadiq also conveyed his relief that Chaudhry Latif Akbar was unharmed and highlighted the need for enhanced safety measures for political figures and citizens alike.
