Special Parliamentary Committee meets in Islamabad tonight: Law Minister

The second meeting of the Special Parliamentary Committee to nominate the next Chief Justice of Pakistan will be held in Islamabad tonight.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Minister for Law and Justice, Azam Nazeer Tarar, said that the Special Parliamentary Committee requires a two-thirds majority to nominate the next Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Earlier, nine out of the twelve committee members attended the first session as members associated with the Sunni Ittehad Council and PTI were absent.
