Spillways of Tarbela Dam Open to Release Water

Islamabad: The spillways of Tarbela dam have been opened to release water.

According to Radio Pakistan, the water flow at the Indus downstream is expected to remain from 260,000 to 270,000 cusecs.

The NDMA has advised people living along River Indus near the downstream to observe precautionary measures and asked tourists to refrain from going towards water flow.
