Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Announces Second Interim Dividend for 2024

Karachi: Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited (SCBPL) has declared a second interim cash dividend of 20% for the year ending on 31 December 2024, following a meeting of its Board of Directors on 26 August 2024. This decision comes on top of a previously issued 15% interim dividend for the same fiscal year.

The latest dividend, amounting to Rs. 2 per share on shares with a face value of Rs. 10 each, will be payable to shareholders listed on the bank’s Register of Members as of 6 September 2024. The announcement was made to provide shareholders clarity on their dividends following a year of substantial financial operations.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the share transfer books of SCBPL will be closed from 9 September 2024 to 11 September 2024, inclusive of both days. All transfers that are received in order at the office of SCBPL’s Share Registrar, M/s CDC Share Registrar Services Limited in Karachi, by the close of business hours on 6 September 2024 will be eligible for the dividend.
