Steps Being Taken to Provide Convenience to Masses of D.I.Khan: Kundi

Dera ismail khan: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi announced that several steps are being implemented to provide convenience to the people of Dera Ismail Khan. Addressing a function in the city, he highlighted key initiatives aimed at enhancing public services and infrastructure development.

According to Radio Pakistan, four new NADRA offices are set to open in the area, along with the introduction of passport counters in existing NADRA offices. This move is intended to streamline services, allowing citizens to access vital documentation and passport services in one location.

Governor Kundi also revealed that section IV has been imposed on 1,600 acres of land designated for the Dera Ismail Khan Greenfield Airport. Upon completion, this facility is expected to be one of the largest airports in the country, greatly enhancing the region’s connectivity and economic prospects.

Further infrastructure development includes the dual-lane construction of the D.I.Khan to DG Khan Road. Tenders for this project have been completed with the collaboration of the Asian Development Bank, marking a significant step towards improving regional transportation links.
