Islamabad: The process of submitting the first installment of next year’s Hajj fee is underway uninterruptedly through the Hajj Digital Portal.
According to Radio Pakistan, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed that thirty-one billion rupees have been received, and the number of applications has surpassed fifty thousand within just twenty-four hours. This significant response highlights the efficiency and accessibility of the online payment system, allowing applicants from all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Islamabad to participate in the process seamlessly.
The initiative includes three payment methods introduced on the National IT Board’s Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal. Pilgrims can choose from OneLink PSID, bank cards, and manual bank challans to make their payments, ensuring flexibility and convenience in the application process.
