Successful Counter-Terrorism Operation in South Waziristan Praised by Acting President and PM

Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have commended the efforts of the security forces following a successful counter-terrorism operation in the Sarwakai area of South Waziristan District. The operation led to the killing of four Khawarij, marking a significant step in the ongoing efforts against terrorism.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani stated that the security forces executed the operation with valor and professionalism, successfully targeting the terrorists’ hideouts. He further emphasized the national commitment to continue operations until the complete elimination of Fitna al-Khwarij.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his statement, reiterated the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country. He assured that the nation stands united with the security forces in their fight against terrorism.
