Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited Reports Loss of Share Certificates

Karachi: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited has announced the loss of share certificates previously owned by the late shareholder Mohammad Mazhar Hayat. The company disclosed this information today, urging caution among members of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The lost certificate, numbered 1306947, contained 8,458 shares, encompassing the distinctive numbers from 549,406,945 to 549,415,402. The legal heirs of the deceased shareholder reported the certificates missing, along with accompanying verified and unverified transfer deeds.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the exchange has been notified to prevent any transactions involving these certificates. Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited has set a three-day period for the submission of any objections. If no objections are received by the end of this period, the company will issue duplicate certificates to the legal heirs, and no further claims will be entertained.

This action aims to safeguard the trading process and ensure the proper transfer of ownership to the entitled heirs.
