Islamabad:The 22nd death anniversary of renowned Urdu poet and broadcaster Tabish Dehlvi was observed today.
According to Radio Pakistan, Tabish Dehlvi is celebrated as one of the classical poets in Urdu literature.
He began his career in 1941 as a newsreader with All India Radio, using the name Masood Tabish. Following the partition, he continued his broadcasting career by joining Radio Pakistan.
Tabish Dehlvi passed away on this day in 2004 in Karachi.
