Tarar Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthen Pak-Tajik Ties

Islamabad: Tajikistan Ambassador Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, along with a delegation, called on Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar in Islamabad today. During the meeting, both sides discussed the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan, underscoring the shared cultural heritage, historical linkages, and mutual goodwill that form the foundation of bilateral ties.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions also highlighted the importance of further strengthening cooperation across legal and institutional domains. A key area of deliberation was a proposal to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on mutual legal cooperation between the two countries. The proposed MoU aims to promote collaboration in legal affairs, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and enhance institutional linkages between the two countries.

Azam Nazeer Tarar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing engagement with Tajikistan across all sectors, particularly in the legal and judicial spheres.
