Lahore: TCL, Pakistan’s leading LED TV brand, has announced a collaboration with Alkhidmat Foundation to provide aid to families affected by recent floods in Jalalpur Pirwala, Punjab.
As part of this initiative, TCL has allocated PKR 1.5 million towards relief activities. The funding facilitated the organization of a seven-day medical camp in partnership with Alkhidmat Foundation, where a team of six doctors and support staff offered free medical checkups, medications, and treatments to thousands suffering from water-borne and infectious diseases.
In addition to medical assistance, TCL distributed ration packs to ensure affected families have access to essential food supplies during this challenging period.
Yang Li, Deputy General Manager at TCL Pakistan, emphasized the company’s commitment to social responsibility, stating, “TCL remains committed to the people of Pakistan beyond just technology and innovation. Through our partnership with Alkhidmat Foundation, we were able to provide timely medical aid and food relief to families affected by the recent floods in Jalalpur Pirwala. We will continue to stand with communities in times of need and contribute towards a better future through our CSR efforts.”
TCL has a longstanding tradition of engaging in corporate social responsibility initiatives, reinforcing its role not only as a technology leader but also as a brand dedicated to community welfare.
