Terrorists’ Plot Foiled in Balochistan; Heavy Casualties Reported

Kalat: On the night between January 31 and February 1, an attempted terrorist plot aimed at establishing roadblocks in the Mangocher area of Kalat District, Balochistan, was thwarted by security forces and law enforcement agencies.

According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations, the attack was intended to disrupt the peace in the region by targeting civilians.

In a swift response, security personnel neutralized twelve terrorists, preventing further harm to the local population. However, the operation came at a significant cost, as eighteen security personnel lost their lives in the confrontation.

Following the incident, operations are underway to apprehend those responsible for planning and facilitating the attack. The security forces have vowed to continue their efforts to maintain stability and peace in Balochistan, emphasizing that the sacrifices of their personnel only reinforce their determination to combat terrorism.
