Switzerland: Tetra Laval, the conglomerate comprising Tetra Pak, Sidel, and DeLaval, has announced its commitment to aid those impacted by the recent floods in Spain’s Valencia region. In a display of solidarity, the group has expressed its sympathy for affected individuals and communities.

According to Tetra Pak, Tetra Laval will contribute €350,000 to the Red Cross’s ongoing relief efforts in the region. This substantial donation aims to address the immediate requirements of the flood-stricken areas, including the provision of food, water, shelter, and essential hygiene and healthcare services. The Red Cross is actively engaged in search and rescue operations, ensuring the safety and emotional support of survivors, and working towards the restoration of habitability in homes and community infrastructure, alongside the revival of public services.

In addition to the financial contribution, Tetra Laval’s local employees in Spain are participating in various activities to support the relief efforts, reflecting the group’s commitment to aiding the Valencia community during this challenging time.
