Trade Development Authority of Pakistan organises Generalized System of Preferences Plus Training

Karachi, April 22, 2014 (PPI-OT): Trade Development Authority of Pakistan organized GSP Plus Training in collaboration with CBI (Centre for Promotion of Imports from developing countries), Netherlands from 14 – 15 April, 2014 at Faisalabad and from 17 – 18 April, 2014 at Karachi. Two CBI experts namely, Mr. Marcel Oosterveer and Ms. Jose Koopman came from Netherlands for the training.

The two trainers conducted the training sessions in which exporters from textile garment sector participated. The participants were apprised of the opportunities and challenges brought about by the GSP Plus.

The training was not confined to only GSP Plus, but it also encompassed EU market development, market intelligence, product development, product innovation and access to potential market and the promising economic trends worldwide. The participants took deep interest in the training. They were of the view that the training proved to be very useful for them.
